Meet Grassway Farm, Maynard, Iowa

Grassway Farm is a family run 3rd generation dairy and crop farm. Scott Weidemeijer and his family own and manage the farm on a daily basis. 50+ years ago the original homestead started as 172 acres, and has grown to over 700 acres today. Since 2015, they have been transitioning the farm to organic. Scott and his wife Catherine also have 4 sweet young kids that we had the pleasure of meeting when we visited the farm the summer of 2019. Grassway was the first farmer to participate in our Transitional Oats in the Corn Belt Pilot Project and have been an inspiration to us. They are growing another 100 acres for us this year and we can't wait to go back and visit.
