No Sugar, No Grainer. Meet our New Banana Berry Chia Muesli
I love whole grains. Duh, I started a muesli company! In the past year, I have heard from a growing number of people who either can’t have grains or are trying to limit grains. The options for healthy foods, without grains or added sugar are, in the case of the breakfast aisle, pretty much nonexistent. And since we, over here at Seven Sundays, are ALL ABOUT ridding the breakfast aisle of decades of flaws, I got busy in the kitchen creating our most beautiful muesli yet.
The goal? A light, crunchy, pour-milk-on-top-of-super-muesli-ingredients style cereal. After many (many, many) rounds in our test kitchen, and an inspirational trip across the pond to the muesli capital of the world, we decided on this beautiful healthy blend of toasted unsweetened coconut, sliced and whole almonds, chopped pecans, tons of superseeds (chia, sesame, pumpkin and sunflower), chewy Bing cherries, freeze-dried berries and a hint of real vanilla and cinnamon. It is so good you can, and should, eat it straight out of the bag.
