How to Make Hot Muesli

How to Make Hot Muesli

As soon as we wake up to the first sign of frost each fall, we're instantly inclined to make the switch from our much-loved overnight oats style muesli to a bowl of hot, comforting muesli. Here's how we prepare it hot:

Hot Muesli

1/2 cup Seven Sundays Muesli
1/2 cup water or milk (dairy or plant)

Stovetop

Combine and simmer equal parts muesli and liquid in a pot over medium high heat for 3-4 minutes. Eat as is or stir in preferred toppings (we love almond milk, yogurt, fresh fruit, apple butter, etc...)

Microwave

Combine and heat equal parts muesli and liquid in a microwave-safe bowl for 1:30 minutes. Eat as is or stir in preferred toppings (we love almond milk, yogurt, fresh fruit, apple butter, etc...)

Feel free to comment with your own favorite toppings for hot muesli!

Enjoy,

As I was walking down the cereal aisle at Costco today looking for gluten free oatmeal, one of the workers put one bag of your Blueberry Chia Buckwheat Muesli on the shelf. It was the only one! I walked over to it, read the ingredients and knew I was blessed to be the one to have walked down that aisle at that moment. I cannot wait to prepare it for my hot breakfast in the morning :)

Definitely the healthy cozy treat I needed on this cold Minnesota day. Just picked up the blueberry at Costco and am in love!!

Please put “hot” directions on the bag!! It is delicious. After I bought it, I was disappointed that there were no directions for “hot”. I guess I could have figured something out, I just want to make breakfast and get on with my life. Thus I had it awhile before I found the online recipe.

Love Seven Sundays Muesli. It is my go-to breakfast and sometimes lunch or a late night snack. I have tried all the flavors but LOVE the Cranberry Chia Buckwheat. Disappointed that our local Costco doesn’t stock Seven Sundays.
