Imperfect Packaging
Here's the deal. There's no perfect packaging solution, and we’ve long been unsatisfied with the end use of our plastic pouches. (t's not recyclable at your curb.) But to keep weird ingredients out of our cereals, like preservatives, we require a multi-layer plastic film so that it's fresh by the time it gets to you. We're proud to report that our pouches are made from at least 30% post consumer recycled (PCR) material, like milk jugs. Cool, right? It is, but we can do better. And we are.
We're so excited that Ridwell has made it possible to recycle our #7 pouches at your front door. Our family has been using Ridwell for awhile, and I can't believe how much of our trash was all being landfilled before! Our weekly garbage collection is now down to one small bag per week.
