Sustainability Factors: Most have heard that it takes over 1 gallon of water to produce 1 almond. Further, 80% of the world's almonds are grown in a very drought prone area called the Central Valley of California. This is why we choose to source our almonds from a family-owned almond farm. The founder understands their livelihood depends on the sustainability of the land and their ability to harness and responsibly use all that Mother Nature provides. Our supplier ensures the conservation of water application through drip-irrigation and micro sprinkler systems as well as a 5 acre solar field for renewable energy supply.
