READY, SET, GLUTEN FREE

You asked, we listened. Our customers want and/or need more gluten free options.  There are very few mueslis out there that fit the bill, so we decided to give it a go. And we did not sacrifice anything to get there. In fact, we think this is our best recipe yet – BLUEBERRY CHIA BUCKWHEAT. Yep, it literally tastes like Sunday morning.

Gluten Free Oats and Organic Honey. The combo of whole grain, thick-rolled oats and real organic honey is a must and is in all of our mueslis. All we did was ask our grain supplier to send us oats that have not been comingled with other gluten-containing grains.

Chia and Pepita Seeds. These seeds pack an amazing protein punch. Plus, I don’t know of a healthier or tastier seed combo out there. Let us know if you find one!

Dried Blueberries and Apples. Brady has wanted a blueberry muesli since the start, so this is his dream (and yours) come true. Add in just enough dried apple pieces and you get enough sweet without all the sugar.   

Buckwheat Flour. This is what really brings out the Sunday morning flavor. It has a hit of buckwheat pancakes. Many think buckwheat is a cereal grain, but it is actually a fruit seed that is related to rhubarb and sorrel making it a suitable substitute for grains.

Our favorite way to eat the Blueberry Chia Buckwheat muesli is soaked overnight in almond milk. Creamy

So where can you get your hands on some? For the first few months of 2015, it will only be available at Target stores nationwide. Then, with any luck, you should be able to find it in most stores where Seven Sundays is sold.
